What to Expect

A Reverent, God-Centered Gathering

At Grace, we worship through a blend of treasured hymns and some contemporary songs — reverent and God-centered, not a rock-concert production. Our Sunday gathering follows a thoughtful order, and every part of it has meaning. Here's a window into what we do and why.

We have been called out of darkness and into His marvelous light. We have been made worshipers of the one, true God. He calls us to come and worship Him to the joy of our souls. Hallowed be His Name.

We ask God to visit us and for us to know that He is among us. Let Your kingdom come.

We respond to God's call and presence with praise and sacrifice. We not only give our words but our material abundance with our offerings. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We give because He has first given to us. All we have — heart, mind, body, and soul — is His, and our life's activity and purpose are never more aligned than when we express our love and worship of God.

We submit to the authority of Christ and partake in the refreshment of prayer. One of our elders shepherds us by reading God's Word and asking God to give us our daily bread, to forgive us our sins, and to protect us from evil.

We now partake of God's spiritual provision to us. Our spiritual life depends on understanding and obeying the Word of God. The preached Word is our nourishment.

We have been blessed in the gathering, and we are to go forth in faith — acknowledging and receiving this blessing until we meet again.
